There’s no doubt about it, Hudson is pretty damn cool and I’ve been looking forward to this release for awhile. His biggest contribution to the Manhattan Clan though is his wisdom as Goliath often seeks his advice before rushing headlong into a confrontation. Armed with his curved sword, he may not be the warrior he was in his youth, but he won’t back down from a fight. When he’s called upon he’s still a ferocious warrior. Though don’t mistake that for Hudson being some useless old geezer. A bit surly, and at his happiest in a comfy chair with his TV and pal Bronx at his side. He’s basically the old veteran of the group. Happy Boxing Day! It’s been a minute, but we’re back with another figure in NECA’s line of action figures based on the 90s cartoon/property Gargoyles – Hudson! Hudson, who was wonderfully brought to life by the late Ed Asner, was always my favorite character in the show. We’re coming out of Christmas with a figure of the year candidate.
